The Founders of Sisters and Mothers Foundation have been honoring unsung women since 2011 and was established in 2013 as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Sisters and Mothers Foundation has looked toward the future with a focus on promoting education, health and well-being of unsung women, by supporting charitable activities of New York and Chicago.
The Foundation’s mission takes two primary forms. It formally acknowledges the mothers of our communities. These are women who have worked tirelessly improving the well being of families within their church and community. It also empowers all women over the age of twenty five to expand their educational, cultural and social horizons, to improve their financial literacy as well as pursue higher education opportunities.
